The Janas Cultural Association was born in 2004 with the dual purpose of producing and supporting Independent Cinematography. Also through the disclosure of Film Works produced by Emerging Artists.
Among the various communication tools it was therefore chosen to give ample space to Cinema and Audiovisual. First by designing the Tour of Sardinian Independent Cinema and then by transferring productions and initiatives directly on the Web.
Among the founding members, the experience and cultural vision of the notes Pj Gambioli, creator of the Review of Independent Sardinian Itinerant Cinema and author of numerous Short Films, Documentaries and Web Series award-winning in International Festivals.
She was responsible for the innovative intuitions that ten years later, in 2014, led to the birth of the Youtube channel JANAS TV, cultural rib of the Association.
This very important transition to digital has allowed the crossing of the borders between the island of Sardinia. And the global distribution and free of the works produced. A digital archive is created for the protection of traditional Arts and Crafts. And the use of short films with a social content.
Subsequently, the channel broadened its horizons by extending research into other sectors as well. We talk about medicine and rehabilitation, food and wine, video tutorials and even web series dedicated to entertainment.
After the birth of the Youtube channel JANAS TV
Three years later another goal was achieved: to produce and distribute film products tailored to children and families. The Youtube channel was born in 2017 Baby Chat Kids entirely dedicated to the development of creativity and fine craftsmanship, to cooking for children, to games of intelligence and interaction, to travel and to computer-based fairy tales.
A bet that is renewed every day, combining the social mission with the cultural one. A world of culture is certainly a place of shared opportunity.
The projects of the Janas Cultural Association involve a staff of artists and collaborators from time to time. S.encryptors, composers, musicians, actors, technicians and designers they participate in the realization of ever new ideas on entertainment and culture. Today the focus is more on the Web audience and the potential offered by the use of social Network protagonists of this digital age.
