Born and raised in Naples, my studies in Slavic languages (Russian and Polish) took me around the world. Moscow, Los Angeles and, finally, Reading in the UK. In my previous life, I loved teaching Russian languages, art and literature… Now I am mainly involved in photography. Most of all, I like to connect people and learn about different lives, possible alternatives to mine.

The undisputed king of my and Paul's days is now our little Leonardo and he is one of the inspirations behind the creation of our site Italian mums,

I met my friend Vale during the preparation course organized by the NCT. Little by little, she and later our little ones Leonardo and Oliver, we became very good friends. Spending a lot of time together. The idea and the hope that our little ones can grow together and cultivate their "Italian spirit" (they are both half English). This inspired us to create a community of Italian mothers in the town where we live in England.

Italian mums

This project was initially born as a model group meetup for Italian mothers based in Reading, Berkshire. While we still organize many events locally, the project has quickly evolved into one site. We hope it will become the major source of information for Italian mothers residing in Great Britain.
The result of collective work, Italian mums hosts practical articles on pregnancy and childbirth in England, covering bureaucratic issues and much more.
