Dolce & Gabbana becomes an institutional partner of the FAI - Fund for the Italian Environment in support of enhancement of Italy's artistic, cultural and environmental heritage.

The partnership agreement between the Italian fashion brand was signed in the last few hours Dolce & Gabbana and FAI - Fund for the Italian Environment. The two realities will build a synergistic path of initiatives aimed at promoting the commitment in favor of protection of the beauties and heritage of our beautiful country based on their common values: Italianness, culture, tradition, education and beauty.
Dolce&Gabbana has for years been concretely committed to promoting the excellence of the many Italian artisans and the artistic and architectural beauties of the area.
Campaigns with FAi
Already in 2021, the famous stylists had started a collaboration with Il Fai by promoting in particular a place dear to the Dolce family in the competition "Places of the Heart" of the FAI, originally from the Sicilian town of Polizzi Generosa in the province of Palermo, surrounded by Madonie. Domenico Dolce had promoted among the Places Make of the Heart la Church of Santa Maria Lo Piano, which reached 13th place in the national ranking. This made it possible to carry out some necessary restoration work inside the historic building.
The link with Italy and Sicily
The two stylists are inextricably linked to Sicily which for them is always a source of inspiration for their collections. We recall one of the houses they owned in Stromboli, in the Aeolian Islands, or the one in Syracuse, city chosen last summer for a fashion show to celebrate ten years of haute couture together with Marzameni which was attended by numerous Italian and international guests, making Sicily a showcase for the jet set. Also memorable is the fashion show in 2017 at the cathedral of Monreale, in the province of Palermo and then in the iconic Piazza Pretoria or "of Shame".
The two stylists are in love with Italy and never miss an opportunity to demonstrate this feeling!
The partnership
It is based on a deep bond with the territory that the privileged relationship that is inserted Dolce & Gabbana entertains with the Fund for the Italian Environment, a relationship that takes shape today with the formalization of partnership for the period 2023 – 2026 and which will represent a further opportunity to promote the culture and traditions of Italy by involving the community and actively contributing to the creation of social value.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Dolce&Gabbana will celebrate this new synergy with a special display of the windows of the boutiques in the city and the presentation of content created exclusively for the Virtual Room of the Dolce&Gabbana Casa store in Corso Venezia 7 in Milan, that will put some of the gods into dialogue Foundation assets with the creative universe of the brand.
Dolce&Gabbana's decision to become an institutional partner of Fund for the Italian Environment, was born from the common intention of promoting Italy and all its realities even more.
