In this finale on Sunday we admire Pietramontecorvino, Most Beautiful Village of Apulian Italy in the province of Foggia.

Built around the year XNUMX on a spur of tufaceous rock, the terravecchia (this is the name of the historic center of Pietramontecorvino) is characterized by a ring-shaped urban layout, on which a network of narrow alleys is grafted, offering impressive views of the surrounding hills.

The town and the landscape seem to be united in a single design.

The monumental complex, consisting of the Norman tower, the Matrice church and the ducal palace, located at the top of the spur, is an incredible "out of scale" compared to the fabric of the houses: it performed, in fact, a double function of protection of the village and of prestige . The lower houses seem to climb up to it.

The landscape around is beautiful Daunia: sunny countryside with wheat, olive trees, vines, deserted roads.

Here the pungent winter air brings the scent of wood burning in the fireplaces while the summer wind spreads the scent of brooms from the nearby mountains ...
