To frame the property, there is a 65-hectare park with centuries-old olive and carob trees together with numerous varieties of wild and spontaneous plants. The external structure does not present particular structural problems evident on the load-bearing structure, while the interior requires restoration of the stone surfaces and spaces.

The first owner was Giorgio Schininà, Marquis of Sant'Elia. In 1957 the entire estate was purchased by Cav. Vito Veninata in favor of his daughters Emanuela, Elisa and Maria. The latter is the mother of the Ottaviano brothers, current owners. From then until the 90s it was the family's summer home.
