I arrived in Reading in August 2006 to work for an IT multinational.
The idea was to stay a year or two and see how it went and then maybe go back to Italy.
Thanks to the good news that came and still comes from Italy both in political and economic matters, I decided to stay and become a British citizen.
Thus was born Readitalians.org, a language blog that contains interesting information for those moving to and living in Reading, UK.
In addition to advertising events, news of general interest are also published for those who decide to live in the UK such as registering with a doctor, requesting permanent residence, applying for citizenship, voting, etc.
The site has no banners, advertisements, sponsors, subsidies: you can't see or buy anything. Any donations are welcome 😉
