In July and August the institutes, theaters, cinemas, museums, libraries, parks and sports centers, with the involvement of the third sector, educators and external experts, will be open to students. The school intended as a place for the formation of the person and the citizen, rooted in its own territory and supported by the active participation of the whole community. The objectives of the Summer School Plan

The Estate Plan is the starting point of a path of transformation and evolution of the Education system for:

  • A welcoming, inclusive school based on a personalized learning logic
  • A new educational alliance with the territories, which consolidates the sense of belonging to the "community" and provides for the active involvement of student and parent representatives
  • An educational model aimed at mitigating the risk of early school leaving and educational poverty

The phases of the Summer School Plan

On the official website of the Summer School Plan the three phases established by the Ministry of Education are also fixed. The first stage involves strengthening and strengthening of disciplinary and relational skills. The aim is to increase the skills of female students and encourage their learning through direct participation in the construction of knowledge. To achieve the objectives it is suggested to organize orientation initiatives, laboratory activities or in-depth activities related to the knowledge of the territory and the traditions of local realities.

Phase 2 points to the reinforcement and enhancement of disciplinary skills and sociability. In this phase, sharing and participation processes can be initiated. The aim will be to involve the territory in which the school is located and to consolidate the sense of belonging to the "community".

The third and final phase refers to the introduction to the new school year. The goal is to encourage the creation of scenarios of solidarity and trust in others. Students will be prepared for the restart by activating a path that supports them in facing the next school experience. To do this, it is possible to resort to innovative teaching and with particular attention to the themes of inclusion and collaboration.

What will be of the ballots

Within the FAQ, reference is also made to the ballots, considered central element for the launch of the Summer Plan. The Ministry of Education specifies that the evaluation of female students and students it represents a moment of confrontation, also in self-evaluation terms, for the construction of personalized learning paths. A necessary clarification pending the ordinance on the ballots of the school year 2020-2021 which can be brought forward from 1 June.
