Ingredients for 24 sweets:
50 g butter in cubes
225 g flour type "00"
2 tsp chemical yeast
120 g + 1 tablespoon sugar
1 eggs
3-4 tablespoons of milk
3-4 tablespoons of strawberry jam
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Put the flour, baking powder and butter in the mixer bowl (or in a normal bowl if you work by hand) and knead until you have a mixture similar to breadcrumbs. Add the sugar and mix.
Add the beaten egg and milk to obtain a paste that must be rather stiff and firm, if 4 tablespoons of milk are too many do not add them all.
Divide the dough into 24 balls of about 18-20 grams and place them on the baking sheet. With a wooden spoon make a dimple in the center and fill it with strawberry jam or according to your taste, with a spoon or with a piping bag. Sprinkle the tablespoon of granulated sugar on top.
Bake for 13 minutes or until the biscuits are golden underneath. You can serve immediately to wait for them to cool.
