190 g melted butter

Procedure for making soft squares with cherries
First, wash the cherries and remove the stone. In a planetary mixer, whip the eggs with the sugar until a frothy mixture is obtained.
Add the yogurt, then the warmed melted butter, the lemon peel and the sifted flour together with the baking powder. Finally, flour and add the cherries. Grease and line a baking tray with parchment paper, pour the mixture, bake in the oven at 170 ° C for 40/45 ', always do the toothpick test. Cut into squares, sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with some cherries.
