On May 13th, the prestigious Quirinale palace is preparing to welcome President Sergio Mattarella for an extraordinary event: the award ceremony of 29 young Standard Bearers of Solidarity. This upcoming event promises to be an unforgettable occasion, where exciting stories of solidarity, love and civic-mindedness will be celebrated. It will be a unique moment to honor and recognize the extraordinary commitment of these young people in making the world a better place through their selfless actions.
29 young Standard Bearers of Solidarity, the stories
One of these spectacular stories is that of Lorenzo, 16 years old, who made a extraordinary discovery: a variable star. This type of star, whose brightness varies over time due to physical phenomena, has been officially recognized and cataloged by the international organization for variable stars of the American Association of Variable Star Observer, and now bears the name of Lorenzo.
Returning from school on a regional train, Emanuele, however, suddenly finds himself faced with one disconcerting situation: a man, speaking in Romanian, expresses his intention to kill his girlfriend. Thanks to his knowledge of his language, Emanuele manages to intervene promptly and prevent the imminent murder.
