The Lametine Francesco Mastroianni can well be considered among the best ice cream makers and pastry chefs in the world. In 1989 he started his business, carrying on the family ice cream parlor and pastry shop started many years earlier by his grandfather. Over the course of his long career, Mastroianni has obtained numerous international awards that have convinced him to create his own personal brand, Casa Mastroianni, making several points of sale in Calabria and throughout Italy. On the Calabrian territory Casa Mastroianni exists ad Amantea (Cosenza), Soverato (Catanzaro) Lace and Tropea (Vibo Valentia). A Casa Mastroianni sales point also exists inside the Lamezia airport, which records passenger traffic of around 3 million per year. TO Roma e Florence the premises created by Mastroianni are known with the name of "Don Nino master ice cream maker".

at the parent company from which it all started is the Lametine headquarters in via San Rocco where you can admire and taste dozens and dozens of different delicacies of the modern day pâtisserie and the best ice cream. In addition to the store, in fact, Casa Mastroianni in Lamezia also has an artisan laboratory where ice cream and pastry products are processed and where 52 employees are at work every day. Definitely a reality of excellence for Calabria and for the whole South.
Mastroianni was ranked fifth at the 40th edition of Sigep (International exhibition of ice cream, pastry, artisan bakery and coffee) of Rimini. An international event that rewards world excellences, leaders in the pastry and ice cream sector.


Furthermore, Casa Mastroianni, the only reality of its kind in Calabria, was awarded i “Two cones” of Gambero Rosso 2019, one of the most prestigious guides in the sector. Last but not least, with the "Cuor di Brontolo" ice cream based on Bronte pistachios, Mastroianni was ranked at first place at the "Gelato world tour" From Rome. A further recognition that confirms the skill and professionalism, at an international level, of the Calabrian master ice cream maker.
