The pandemic caused by the Coronavirus does not seem to want to stop. Indeed, in addition to those already known, a rare variant of covid was found in Naples. The Pascale Institute and the university "Frederick II" Naples have isolated another variant of Covid-19, for the first time in Italy. This is a very rare variant. As the Campania region has made known, at present its infectious charge or other characteristics are not known. It is called B.1.525 and so far 32 cases have been recorded in Great Britain alone. Few cases also identified in Nigeria, Denmark and the United States. Never before had it spread to Italy.
The American variant hypothesis

At present, the most common variants are the English, Brazilian and South African ones; these show variations in the spike protein, but should not cause problems with antigen tests, which have the task of detecting protein N. However, following the spread of the new variants, both the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and the Ministry of Health have increased microbiological and epidemiological surveillance of the virus.
The most widespread viral variant in the national territory seems to be, at the moment, the English one. However, this does not reduce the effectiveness that i have vaccines. The other two variants, the Brazilian and the South African, are less common in Italy. In order to counter the spread of the Coronavirus, we must continue to respect the rules: spacing; use of protective equipment and wash your hands often. These are three simple rules, but they become useful to protect us from the virus.
