Panini Serie A Collection, what the collection is made of
Made for the first time in Italy by the Modena-based company, it is composed 60 double-sided cards (50 with UV polishing and the other 10 with silver foil), contained in an elegant box together with a 32-page mini-magazine with all the statistics of the championship and with the tricolor patch of the scudetto as a gift to apply on your jersey. As announced by the same company, the collection will rapidly increase in value especially for certain characteristics. In fact, there are rare 'Parallel' cards, numbered, with printed autographs, limited edition or even produced in a single copy.
Antonio Allegra, Panini's Italian Market Director, told the press about the purpose of this special collection: "The 'Celebration Set' dedicated to Serie A TIM 2020-21 intends to offer fans and fans an opportunity to gather and keep all the great protagonists and unforgettable events of the championship that has just ended". He then added that the box set responds to the growing demand for collectibles related to the world of football that are increasingly rare and exclusive, in the wake of the great success of similar collections made by Panini in the United States.
The winning teams and the players in evidence
Within the collection there are 3 "Celebration" cards dedicated to the winning teams of the national trophies. The first is dedicated to Inter Campione d'Italia, while the other two to Juventus who in the last season won the Italian Cup and PS5 SuperCup 2020. Another 6 cards are dedicated to Inter with a composition of the 19 players who took part. of the Scudetto winning squad. There is also a single card dedicated to the coach Antonio Conte.
The collection also celebrates 20 “Top Players”, one for each team. They are the players who have stood out among their teammates: among these, there are also some of the protagonists of the current tournament "Euro 2020”And the successes of our national team, such as Federico Chiesa, Domenico Berardi, Andrea Belotti, Nicolò Barella and Lorenzo Insigne. Other 15 cards instead concern the champions awarded the MVP awards (Most Valuable Player) from Lega Serie A, both monthly and at the end of the championship. 8 "Top Moments" card instead they are dedicated to the crucial moments of the season. In the end 8 "Top Stats" card celebrate the absolute seasonal records, both individual and team.
Exclusive and limited edition card
It will also be present in all the boxes a "Parallel" card which celebrates one of the 15 MVPs of the 2020-2021 season with limited numbers and colors. For those who order 'Serie A TIM 2020-2021 Official Celebration Set' by 31 July, there is the possibility to receive an additional “Parallel” card for free. This is the "Goal Machine" dedicated to Cristiano Ronaldo, with printed autograph, limited numbers and colors. These special “Parallel” cards have a maximum circulation of only 149 copies for the red ones. Instead, the very rare card in the black variant is printed in a single copy.
