The golden moment of Italian sport shows no signs of stopping. The Italian athletes are also protagonists inthe World Cup in Bocce, with two golds and many medals won in the Flight specialty. The Azzurri successes
They went on stage these days in Martingues, France, the World Cup of bowls. As with any sport for a few months now, the Italian athletes have established themselves as great protagonists. In particular, Italy has conquered well 8 medals in the Flight specialty, including two golds.
The Volo specialty is the one that is practiced with large metal bowls and has been proposed as a new Olympic discipline starting from 2024. Alex Zoia and Ivan Soligon became world champions in this specialty in the Under 23 Couple, while Gabriele Graziano did it in the Under 23 Precision shot.
The other blue successes instead bring the signatures of Simone Mana and Matteo Bardella, silver in the Under 18 Couple, of Stefano Aliverti, silver in the Under 23 progressive shooting, of Serena Traversa and Emanuele Ferrero, second place in the mixed relay, and of Matteo Golfetto and Mattia Falconieri, second in the Under 28 Precision Shooting. Finally, the last two medals, two bronzes, were won by Stefano Pegoraro in the Senior Progressive Shooting and by Mattia Falconieri in the Under 18 Individual.

Obviously the enthusiasm has skyrocketed after these successes. The great blue success at the World Cup in bowls adds a further step to the amazing summer of Italian sport. It all started with the success of the national football team at the European Championships, continued with the achievements of the Italian athletes in the Tokyo Olympics. Furthermore, only a few days ago, he was enriched with the victory of the European Volleyball Championships, for women and men. An impressive sequence of victories, which we really wish could never end.
