Football, Serie C: the play-offs in detail

The Serie C regular season is now over and we are starting to work towards the play offs. Here are the qualified teams and when they will enter the scene.

Today there will be an extraordinary council and we will try to understand whether it will be necessary to postpone the start of the competition (initially scheduled for Saturday 4 May), due to the appeal presented by Taranto after the penalty suffered.

Serie C play offs: the qualifiers

• Qualified for the second round of the national play-offs: Padova (Group A), Torres (Group B), Avellino (Group C)
• Qualified for the first round of the national play-offs: Vicenza (Group A), Carrarese (Group B), Benevento and Catania (Group C)
• Qualified for the second round of the group play-offs: Triestina (Group A), Perugia (Group B), Casertana (Group C)

Serie C play offs: the groupings of the first round into the three groups

• First round pairings of the Group A play offs: Atalanta Under 23-Trento Legnago Salus-Lumezzane Giana Erminio-Pro Vercelli
• First round pairings of the Group B play-offs; Gubbio-Rimini Pescara-Pontedera Juve Next Gen-Arezzo
• First round pairings of the group C play offs: Taranto-Latina Picerno-Crotone A. Cerignola-Giugliano. It should be noted that we must wait for the outcome of Taranto's appeal to understand whether the pairings in group C will be changed.
