An integral thread, a thread that unites. Here is the Yarn Bombing for the International Day of Deafblindness which is celebrated every June 27th. The Lega del Filo d'Oro has been active for over 55 years and promotes the initiative in Italy. The association takes care of the rights of deafblind and psychosensory impaired people, supports their potential and creativity. What is Yarn Bombing

On June 27, in the 10 cities where the Lega del Filo d'Oro operates, the knitted or crochet works will go around, among the people, to live for the city. They will do it for streets, parks and monuments, they will cover corners and make them more suggestive. They will convey a strong message, a web of knowledge and emotions. The result will be a large patchwork, a huge blanket of single pieces, different but similar, a riot of all the colors of solidarity. To establish a closeness found after the lockdown.
