There is excitement in the school world in view of the extraordinary ter competition. The announcement is expected shortly (by the end of November) for both common and support positions. The places expected to access the much infamous role in the world of school are around 20 thousand. However, the Ministry is awaiting the integration requested from the Ministry of Economy with the remaining positions (around 14 thousand) from the 2023/24 appointments. The competition will be divided into three phases: written test, oral test and evaluation of qualifications.
Ter extraordinary competition: details on the tests to be passed
Candidates will be admitted if they have submitted an application to participate in compliance with the methods, terms and requirements of the decree. The written test will take place in the region of participation in the competition and will be computer based. Each candidate performs un single written test for all competition classes and types of jobs for which you are participating. Each question will have four answers available and only one of the four answers will be correct. The order of the 50 questions, as already happened in the school's previous competition, will be administered to each candidate randomly. The questions of the written test will concern the pedagogical, psycho-pedagogical and didactic-methodological fields:
- 10 pedagogical questions
- 15 questions in the psychopedagogical field (including inclusion)
- 15 teaching methodological questions (evaluation included)
- 5 multiple choice questions, English level B2
- 5 questions on the use of technology.
The oral test: duration 45 minutes
The oral exam will have a maximum duration of 45 minutes. The test consists of disciplinary questions and one simulated lesson, which serves to examine effectiveness in instructional design and execution. The candidate will therefore have to conduct an effective lesson, using electronic technologies and tools. For support places, the oral test focuses on the ability to create inclusive and tailored learning environments for students with disabilities. The outline for the simulated lesson will be extracted by each candidate, 24 hours before the test. During the oral test, English language skills will also be assessed.
