In the Rocca delle Macie estate in Castellina in Chianti, it will be possible to admire relics of the sets and unpublished scene photos. A sort of movie destination for the many fans of the film.

For the inauguration there was also a preview screening of the restoration of the original film of "They called him Trinity ...". The work was carried out in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna. With the institution, the Zingarelli family he wanted to ensure the continuity and usability of the film also to the generations of children and grandchildren of those who had the luck and the pleasure of living its first "epic". A way to convey an extremely topical message on the importance of using Bud's "good strength" - combined with Terence's "sagacity" - to defeat adversity.

The story of Italo Zingarelli

Died in 2000, Italo Zingarelli entered the cinema for his physical prowess. He later became a producer and having the two actors under contract Bud Spencer and Terence Hill he sensed its comic significance. So he chose them for the film "They Called Him Trinity", a script that has already been rejected several times by other producers. The film achieved one of the highest grossing in the history of Italian cinema.

The success started a series that continued with:… they kept calling him Trinity (1971),… stronger guys! (1972) and Io sto con gli ippopotami (1979), the latter written and directed by Zingarelli himself. In 1973 he founded Rocca delle Macie, a winery in Chianti.

The Rocca delle Macìe company is today one of the most successful companies in the Chianti Classico area. It has about 500 hectares of which over 200 are planted with vineyards and 25 with olive groves, divided between the six estates owned: Le Macìe, Sant'Alfonso, the Riserva di Fizzano and the Tavolelle in the Chianti Classico area, Campomaccione and Casa Maria in Maremma in the Morellino di Scansano area.
