Hours of controversy on social media for the short film "Calabria, terra Mia" by Gabriele Muccino. The video, presented at the Rome Film Fest Roma, literally drew a shower of criticism. "Tell Muccino that in Calabria there are no more donkeys", "Honestly, this video does not represent me", "It describes a Calabria of the early 900s", "Calabria is not the one in the director's video". "With all due respect, the acting leaves a lot to be desired", "Serious mistake of a subjunctive in the first bar", "No mention of culture, our mountains and lakes". And again: “The true Calabrian tradition is missing”, ”The fennel in the soppressata? Never heard ”, a myriad of comments, like these, animate the 2.0 world of the network and of all the newspapers of our beautiful country.

Some political parties are demanding the Roman director's apology, for having, according to them, created a strong damage to the image of our Region. Some parliamentarians deem this advertising spot unusable and ask the regional leaders to find a solution on the matter.
