Capo Vaticano it is a promontory located on the Tyrrhenian side. It is a jewel set in the Costa degli Dei which extends from Pizzo to Nicotera and which includes the famous Tropea. Its beaches are white, the sea is crystal clear with colors ranging from turquoise to deep blue. This enchanting place is famous for its spectacular seabed with changing colors, rich in fauna and flora, for the unforgettable panoramic views from the overhangs and for the famous sunsets on the nearby Aeolian Islands.

In these places nature is full of light and colors, each season has a unique character. The sea is iridescent, from intense blue to turquoise, from blue to emerald green. It gives emotions and fills the eyes and hearts of those who admire it and know how to listen. Some rocky stretches have maintained their original landscape character. The vegetation is typical of coastal places and the poignant beauty of the area is enriched by the presence and scent of flowering Santolina, evergreen, thorny thistle, prickly pear and spontaneous vegetation. There are inlets where the original lives luxuriantly Mediterranean bush. Human action could not arrive here and this allowed the naturalistic heritage to remain almost intact. But, Capo Vaticano is much more. Taking a boat ride or pedal boat you can admire the beauty of this place up close and see some coves that can only be reached by sea. Sea, nature, sunsets and a magical atmosphere

The scenic trails are truly impressive. The granite cliffs overlooking the sea are famous, from which you can see all the beauty of the chromatic shades of the water. The rocks are of a special white-gray granite which is studied all over the world for its geological characteristics. Along a stretch of road between lanes, prickly pears and dwarf palm you can see the Bay of Grotticelle with behind theat the Dome of the Poro, The Plain of Gioia Tauro on the one hand, and on the other Strait of Messina e Sicily.

A must see is the aforementioned "Bay of Grotticelle. This bay is renowned for its fine white sand and for the sea of ​​enchanting colors. Its depths attract diving and snorkelling enthusiasts  for wealth  of the fauna and flora of the seabed. The wild but also romantic beauty of the area is enhanced and reaches its maximum splendor in the two viewpoints of the "Faro"and "North side". The alternation of sand and rock, the contrast between the white sands and the turquoise sea, the sheer cliffs, the vegetative mantle that stands out among the light colors of the granite rocks, the scent of rosemary and the colors of the sunset will make you fall in love with this casket of beauty which, not surprisingly, is located in a place called "The coast of the Gods".
