In Piedmont, the region where you eat best, a land of gastronomic excellence, Gambero Rosso celebrates the best restaurants. In fact, the recent ranking revealed in the 2024 Guide reveals the exceptional culinary perfection of this region, with 239 restaurants awarded prestigious awards.

Massimo Bottura e Niko Romito, with their score of 96 cents, dominate the ranking with 47 Three Forks, demonstrating their mastery in cooking. Furthermore, the Guide awards 21 special awards to recognize the exceptionality of Italian catering in all its forms, including “green” signs and a growing number of restaurants managed by female chefs.

Piedmont is the region where you eat best according to the Red shrimp, stands out with five restaurants awarded with Tre Forchette, a Tre Gamberi, a Tre Bottiglie, a Tre Boccali and six Special Awards. This region offers an extraordinary gastronomic offer with a vast provincial distribution, but with a strong concentration in Cuneo and Turin.

Among the awarded restaurants, Piazza Duomo in Alba, led by Crippa, deserves a special mention with the Special Prize for the best tasting menu. Villa Crespi in Orta San Giulio, which makes its return after twenty years, demonstrates its continued excellence. Furthermore, three new restaurants join the elite group: Guido in Serralunga d'Alba, Antica Corona Reale in Cervere and Del Cambio in Turin.
