The network of Italians in the world continues to expand. italiani.it, already very strong in Latin America, has recently opened a new blog this time dedicated to the city of currents. We know well that the community of Italians in South America is large and the promotion of the Italian spirit it is close to the heart of many young people who love our country. Most of them are descended from Italians and feel a deep connection with Italy. The news of the opening of the new website dedicated to the city of Corrientes was so popular that it ended up on the pages of Paiubre Semanary, the best-known weekly in the province of Mercedes.
itCorrientes, a blog to talk about Italians and Italianness
The team of the blog dedicated to the city of Corrientes, itCorrientes (the suffix "it" is the hallmark of all the cities that are part of the italini.it network) is headed by Matias Schiro.
At his side is the young woman Rocio Mariana Vaidez. At Semanario Paiubre, Matias talked about this new adventure and explained the underlying reasons that led him to join the italiani.it project. One above all, the desire to promote in the world all that is beautiful about Italy and the Italian spirit. Italiani.it has a highly motivated team in South America, coordinated by Amira Giudice of Buenos Aires. Qui Italiani.it also operates through its Foundation which represents the social soul of the project.
Foundation italiani.it to promote the Italian language
The italiani.it Foundation is particularly dedicated to the emigration of Italians around the world and to the promotion and conservation of the Italian language.
Not surprisingly, during the summer, he promoted a Italian language course, funding 12 scholarships for young people eager to learn our language. Alongside the Foundation she took the field the Calabrese Mutual and Cultural Association of Buenos Aires. But not only. Help also came from Malta where italiani.it has its own garrison, itMalta. The Italian company Synergo, which is based on the island, has decided to support the project by financing 4 scholarships. All this explains what it means to network among Italians in the world and to be part of the italiani.it network.
On itCorrientes Italian culture, traditions and events
Matias Schiro immediately understood the soul of the project when he met Amira Judge at the University of Buenos Aires where they attended an administrative management course for Italian institutions in Argentina. In March, Matias tells Semanario Paiubre, he and his team started the training course to be ready to manage the itCorrientes site.
The motivation is strong. The a common desire is to promote and spread the Italian spirit, also considering that in this city there was no media that spoke and told about Italians.
Italy in the heart
From the pages of Semanario, Matias invites you to join the itCorrientes community "to talk about tourism, culture, traditions, events and spread the Italian spirit in the province". itCorrientes, explains Matias, wants to be a digital meeting space for the many Italians present in the province and it is also an opportunity for personal growth for young bloggers who want a space to tell about how Italians and their descendants live in Corrientes. At the moment italiani.it is present in South America with its own principals and blogs in the following cities: Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mar Del Plata, Misiones, Asunción, La Plata, Montevideo, Río Negro, Tucumán, Corrientes, Córdoba and Mendoza. Meanwhile, teams are being formed in Guatemala City, Bogotà and Rio de Janero. Requirements required? Having Italy in your heart.
