Alessandro Scalora, who is the very young dance talent?
At just 21 years old, Alessandro Scalora, in addition to being a dancer, is also a teacher of Latin American, standard, Latin showdance and Standard showdance. His father is originally from Solarino (in the province of Syracuse), a scientist known in America; the mother, however, is originally from Francofonte (in the province of Syracuse) and teaches. Alessandro lived in the United States, “I started dancing in Alabama, first with ice skating and then my dance partner invited me to watch a class and from that moment on I never stopped,” tells.
He began taking his first steps in the world of dance at just 7 years old. “I have always danced Latin, but I also studied classical dance for 7 years. However, I must say that I have always focused on Latin because I love the movements, I find myself in the movements", explains.
Alessandro dances together with the 17-time Bulgarian champion dancer Nikol Doncheva, met during an audition and with whom a beautiful artistic understanding immediately developed.
“I love doing shows because I like to convey the theme on stage. I love dancing to create an atmosphere where the audience can have fun and experience the emotional part of the performance", goes on.

Alessandro Scalora, successes all over the world
Dancing has taken him all over the world and although very young, he has a very respectable career; in fact he is 8 times American champion and finalist of the Latin Showdance World Championship. You have represented the United States in several countries around the world (Italy, Romania, Israel, Canada, Poland, Holland, Bulgaria, Holland and others). To this day, she continues to compete and teach Todaro Dance Academy of Raimondo and Salvatore Todaro in Misterbianco (Catania).
Love for family and returning home to Sicily
Despite the successes he had all over the world, his love for his family of origin pushed him to return home to Sicily.

"The affection I have for my family pushed me to return to Sicily", he explains excitedly. “This summer I left the team in America and called Salvo and Raimondo. And I didn't think much about the idea of leaving America." tells. And in Sicily he was welcomed with open arms not only by his family, but also by Salvo and Raimondo Todaro and they made him feel immediately at home.
Over the months he has gradually organized himself to begin his new life away from the United States and in addition to teaching in Misterbianco, from January he will also teach Francofonte thus bringing his art to his country of origin.
