A life on the road... or rather a life discovering new beauties. An important objective is that of the Pro Loco of Scordia which aims to make people discover the beauty that is around, outside of the city itself.
The journey, “a moment to grow internally”
The Pro Loco of Scordia, very active in the area, has worked and is still working on concretely activating projects linked to the valorisation, not only of its own land.
With the arrival of the summer, among other things, it is launching projects aimed at all those who want to discover and appreciate the beauties that surround us.
“The journey represents a moment of inner growth”, explains Francesca Anieri, vice president of the Pro Loco of Scordia and provincial councilor of the National Unpli. “Through travel you can improve your mood, recharge and unplug. I am a traveler myself and I wanted to bring my experience within the Pro Loco to make others feel the same positive vibes that I experienced. The trips I have taken, in fact, have allowed me to discover myself even more and grow on a cultural level", goes on.
The journey, “many emotions”
The Pro Loco, making the idea of travel its own, has begun to organize daily tours in Sicily, mini cruises to the islands such as Lipari with the aim of rediscovering the roots and traditions of the places that surround us. “We had a lot of people signing up,” says Francesca, “and the participants appreciated the commitment and passion we put into organizing these moments. On an emotional level we experience emotions with the heart and ultimately it is the heart that knows how to best express the emotions it receives through the senses."

Beyond your own territory
Pro Loco has decided to take on another important challenge by aiming for a new and interesting project that will lead participants to discover the world.
“This is a growing project for 'a life on holiday' as a famous song sings”, points out. “And we are already recording a lot of registrations, also because after that very long period due to Covid, people want and need to travel to shake off that aura of closure caused by the pandemic”.
“Anyone can join, simply contact the Pro Loco of Scordia and be able to begin to broaden your personal experiences by coming into contact with the world”, concludes Francesca.
