The controversy was sparked by a tweet from the city of Illinois on the occasion of World pizza day. Chicago, in fact, is absolutely convinced of it. It would be the best place in the world to eat the symbolic dish of Neapolitan food and wine. But there was no lack of controversy: on social media, many, even well-known faces of TV and cinema were unleashed. The contested tweet reads “Proud to be the pizza capital of the world”.

Not just a statement that has aroused the ire of many.
