Elisa is back with a new and intense song entitled "When it snows", co-written with Calcutta and Dardust.

The singer's new single anticipates the album “Intimate Recordings at Abbey Road Studios”, album born from the theatrical project of “An Intimate Night” out next December 8th.

The meaning of the song
The new single, (the second on the album's tracklist), once again enhances the singer's immense voice; it is a delicate ballad focused on love. Through a post published on Instagram, Elisa explained the concept behind the song: “The story of the song is a personal story, very close to me, but it's not me. It's rare that I reveal the true stories of the songs, because it seems nicer to me that everyone sees their story, and everyone has a different one."

The song was written with Calcutta and Dardust. “When Nevica was written by me, Edo and Dario here in my studio in Friuli. Writing with them was a party, we told each other stories, Edo improvised beautiful melodies and I tried to act as a control tower for him, and then everything turned upside down and I was the one improvising ideas with them guiding me. Dario was looking for harmony, agreements. None of us wanted anything conventional.", Elisa explained in a post published on Instagram.
Dardust appears in a cameo in the official video that accompanies the song. “Without him there would have been none of this. It is he who had a new vision of my music, who in these arrangements created a magical balance between virtuosity and essentiality. It is he who, by leaving me all this space, pushed me to the maximum potential of my voice", wrote Elisa thanking the producer.
