Unchr Italy in favor of the Ukrainian people who remained in their own country devastated by the war. One year afterRussian invasion of Ukraine, a third of the country's population has been forced to leave their homes. Eight million refugees have fled Ukraine and nearly six million people have been displaced within the country's borders. Those who remain are in a state of absolute need: their homes destroyed, without food or drinking water, without gas or fuel. To make the situation worse: the frost, the continuous bombings, the fear of the future.

Unchr Italy in favor of Ukraine

For millions of Ukrainians, survival is at risk. They urgently need your help. After the Russian invasion, millions of people were forced to flee their homes or be internally displaced. Ukrainian families still need humanitarian assistance. A year of war has passed, not pain. Until March 12, you can support the UNCHR campaign by donating to 45588 to help the Ukrainian people.

Cold, hunger, continuous bombings and fear of the future. This is what Ukrainian families are still facing. Their homes are destroyed, they have no food, water, gas and fuel. Thanks to those who support the charity campaign, UNCHR will continue to provide emergency shelter, basic necessities, legal and psychological support to those who have been forced to flee.

Always at the forefront

For 70 years, we have been protecting refugees who need shelter and protection, healthcare, education and work. We are at the forefront of emergencies: in these hours we are also helping the population affected by the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The winter months are the most difficult and dangerous time of the year for those living in crisis contexts. For many of the more than 10 million refugees and displaced Syrians living in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt it will be the twelfth winter in conditions of extreme vulnerability.

Afghanistan has been experiencing conflicts, natural disasters, poverty and food insecurity for over 40 years. Many families live in makeshift shelters exposed to the cold and will struggle to survive another winter. Together we can provide them with an emergency survival kit, safe and warm shelter, food, water and medical care. Donating means helping Unchr to save those who have nothing left.
