Twenty years after the death of Giorgio gaber, one of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters, his extraordinary artistic and human journey comes to life on the big screen thanks to the docufilm "Io, noi e Gaber". This touching tribute was written and directed by Riccardo Milani and premiered at the Rome Film Festival.

Giorgio Gaber is an icon of Italian music, and this documentary is a true celebration of his legacy. The film was promoted by Gaber Foundation. Production is instead entrusted to Atomic in collaboration with Rai Documentari e Cinecittà light. The documentary film will be in cinemas on 6, 7 and 8 November.
“Me, us and Gaber” explores Gaber's life and career, retracing the places that marked his history in Milan and Viareggio. The documentary reveals the evolution of his talent, from his first performances in Milanese clubs to his rock period with Adriano Celentano. From the surreal collaboration withfriend Jannacci to memorable duets with artists such as Mina and Maria Monti.
The film also traces Gaber's path from television popularity to theater, culminating with the invention of the Teatro Canzone, an expression of his profound political and cultural commitment.
