An increasingly robotic future branded Made in Italy. After having in fact told you about the robot-deliveryman and robot-nurses, this time it is the turn of the first robot-bartender in the world. Work on Robot Tips di Las Vegas, and in a few weeks it has already served thousands of drinks becoming a real tourist attraction.

A drink at the Tipsy Robot

All crazy in Vegas. No, it's not the title of a movie, but the feeling you get when you walk inside the Miracle Mile Shops. Here there is a particular bar. Not so much for what it takes, but for who it takes. In fact, the cocktails are prepared by two fully automated robotic arms. A real innovation, desired by the owner of the Tipsy Robot: the Italian Rino Armeni. Here, however, there is not only the one who requested the new bartender, but also the company that provided him with an Italian: the Turin Makr Shakr. But how does it work? The customer normally sits at the table and places the order through an IPAD. Received the order, Tipsy's arm begins to prepare the drink by drawing from the hundreds of bottles placed right above it. Maximum time: 3 minutes.

Then the waiter (this time human) delivers the cocktail to the table. If you want, you can also drink at the counter, but don't expect big chats. The flaw of the Tipsy Robot is in fact that of having decidedly silent bartenders. If you want a little comfort in the words of those serving you better look for another bar.

A hyper-technological city

The Tipsy Robot opened last July, and in a few months it has become a popular destination for all nerds, tourists and just curious. But technology in Las Vegas has reigned supreme for decades. In fact, the famous one is held here every year CES of Las Vegas, where all the greatest technological innovations of the moment are shown to the public. Large companies, small start-ups or simple inventors crowd the halls of the event, staged in January. In the latest edition, we have talked about in recent months, have been the masters the cars of tomorrow. That is electric and self-driving ones like Portal, the model produced by Fiat-Chrysler.
