The pandemic from Coronavirus its steady and rapid advance continues, meanwhile the national government draws up the Sostegno decree to face the economic crisis. The number of infections it is close to 200 (194,87 per 100.000 inhabitants) with a forecast of further deterioration: in the next few days it could reach 250.
This is what emerges from the latest report on the trend of the epidemic for the period 22-28 February. Meanwhile, according to data released by the Ministry of Health, today they are registered 24.036 new positive cases (yesterday 22.865). The new deaths are are 297 (yesterday 339). The discharged healed today are 13.682 (yesterday 13.488). Overall, the positive cases are currently 456.470, practically 10.031 more than yesterday. The swabs made in the last 24 hours are 378.463; the ICU patients are 2.525 while they remain in home isolation 433.571 people infected with Covid-19.
The Support decree is being drawn up
Vaccines and refinancing of citizenship income. A preliminary draft of the Support decree, still being defined, is made up of 26 articles. The document, about fifty pages, ranges from measures for work, including parental leave, to folders, to additional resources for local transport. At the moment, also included rules for the strengthening of nursery schools. According to the new government regulations, the deadlines for payments related to the tax bills are suspended until April 30th.
But, from 1 March, the collection machine starts again with the notification of the new deeds. The suspended deadlines will be paid "within sixtieth day" from the end of the suspension. The draft of the Support decree provides for this, which also modifies the deadlines for the scrapping installments and the balance and excerpt. The support decree could include the removal of all the files received between 2000 and 2015. In fact, in the draft of the decree the measure appears, without however specifying the amount of the folders taken into consideration.
Anti-Covid drugs and grants
From what we learn, the national executive intends to allocate 2,1 billion euros for vaccines and for the purchase of drugs, suitable for the treatment of Covid-19. Another 345 million euros are planned for the involvement of family doctors in the vaccination campaign and 51,6 million to extend Covid hospitals until 31 March.
The new Sostegno decree also provides for new non-repayable contributions for all holders of VAT numbers with revenues not exceeding 5 million euros and losses of at least 33%. Contributions range from a minimum of 1.000 to a maximum of 150.000 euros.
