A change of rules that should restore vitality to the initiative born with the cashless plan of Conte government in February 2021.
The receipt lottery
The news, expected for weeks, came through an approved amendment to the Pnrr decree law, which is in the process of being converted in the Senate. The approved amendment modifies the lottery, transforming it into an instant one, but does not give details on how the methods of use will change. It only establishes that to participate in the draw (only adults residing in Italy are allowed) it is necessary to “associate” your lottery code with the purchase made with electronic payment methods.
For all the rest, from prizes to announcements of winning, it will be decided later “with one or more provisions of the director of the Customs and State Monopolies Agency, in agreement with the Revenue Agency. The new provisions will govern the technical procedures of all receipt lotteries, both instant and deferred. Together with the extraction operations, the entity and number of prizes made available, as well as any other provisions necessary for the start and implementation of the lotteries ". As specified by the approved amendment.
The new rules
