The journey continues and we arrived at San Vito lo Capo, this place is wonderful, full of magic, on one side there is the sea, on the other, dolomitic style ridges.

San Vito lo Capo
San Vito lo Capo
This small village, a jewel of Sicily, is clean, tidy and alive, full of clubs, the food is magnificent, they welcome us with cordiality, it is a perfect mix, a synergy that leads to a unique result!
A new day begins, it is 7.30 in the morning and off we go, destination Erice, we stop for a moment to think and we realize that it is as if time has stopped, as if someone had removed the battery from the clock. Erice is an enchanting place with an ancient and mystical flavor.
A lifetime is not enough to discover this Sicily! On the road the navigators abandon us so we decide to go by eye. Arrived at Castelvetrano, let's stop a gentleman, one in his sixties, more than indications, he showed us how much love he felt for his land, inviting us to visit what makes it rich.

Travel teaches us ...

This land deserves more, this land is more!
The sun is hot, and ensures goodness and sweetness to the vineyards that surround us and that outline the way to Sciacca!

Everyone asks us where we come from, and what we do with 2 wasps under that sun, as soon as we reply that we go around Sicily, they widen their eyes, hint at a smile and exclaim a "good, beautiful our land", reiterating how much they love it. The journey was long, we settle in a b & b housed in a XNUMXth century tower. ( a show). We spend the evening in the alleys of the country that is very active, and tonight our national team plays against Germany. In the morning we leave for the Scala dei Turchi, a place that makes your eyes pop, a ridge of pure white rock that rises from a celestial sea! Once again the amazement hits us! wet and away and we decide to leave for MArina of Ragusa.
Arrived in Marina di Ragusa after 215 km is the longest stage, we book a room in a resort and we jump into the pool. The evening goes by pleasant and animated by the nightlife of the seafront and tomorrow we leave for Noto.
A Noto the blue vespa decided that it needed a check and this allowed us to visit and better appreciate the city, the Lido di Noto, the wonderful Marzamemi and the Vendicari reserve with the small beach of Calamosche.
What particularly struck us was the care of Marzamemi, a fishing village of intense beauty. With 6 hours of delay in the schedule, we completed the tour at an altitude of 2000 meters, to the silvestri craters on the Etna volcano.
Our journey ends here for the moment, we would like to go back and start all over again, see the same places, meet the same people, relive the same emotions.
Thank you all!
