The “Conflenti Trekking” Amateur Sports Association aims first of all to promote, plan, organize and implement the sporting activity of mountain hiking (trekking). Secondly, all sports activities in the Conflenti area. The aim is to encourage rural tourism. By making known places that have remained intact in their primordial beauty and never taken into consideration for the development of local tourism.
Since 2013, numerous excursions have been organized on the territory of the municipality of Conflenti (especially on Mount Reventino) and the neighboring municipalities. Thus it was possible to draw up and present to the public a list of routes that a tourist can take by contacting the association. The initiative met with very positive feedback throughout the Laminian hinterland. All organized excursions see the participation of numerous trekkers from all over the region.
The excursions have the purpose not only to rediscover the nature present in the territories. But also that of making known and deepening some cultural aspects of the place. Traditional music, the life of famous people, legends, food and wine.
Not only mountains .... but also historical centers
The association also periodically organizes "urban trekking". Excursions in the center of Conflenti where participants cross the most characteristic places of Conflenti. Two new sections have been created within the Conflenti trekking association.
One dedicated to airsoft. Sports that both outdoors and indoors, both in urban and extra-urban areas, simulate war scenarios. The participants, divided into teams, dressed in military clothing and armed with replicas of real weapons compete in real battles.
The other dedicated to 5-a-side football with two teams participating in a local championship.
The hope of the members of the association is to continue on this path and, if possible, to further expand the range of activities to contribute to the improvement of life in Conflenti.
