It is one of the musical groups of our beautiful country. Since the seventies, the collages have been carrying the notes of Italian music around the world. After taking second place, with the song "You steal my soul", at the Sanremo Festival in 1977, obtain various musical awards in the Italian melodic pop. Perhaps not everyone knows that the name of Collage derives from a well-known album by the band “Le Orme”. The group was born in Sardinia in the early seventies. After a series of participations in the main music festivals, it is the twenty-seventh edition of the Italian Song Festival that catapulted the Collage among the great musicians.
Emotions, loves and passions in the melodies of the Collage
"She did not know how to make love", "Slowly ... I fell in love with you", "The boys who love each other", and again "Donna musica", these are some of the most popular singles of the group. With millions of copies around the planet, they convey the splendid Italian emotions in the hearts of our compatriots. Loves, passions, emotions, these are the pieces present in their "fairytale" melodies.
During their tours, around the world, they participate in three other competitions of the Sanremo Festival, obtaining notable successes in the Italian music charts. In the eighties with the song “Sole rosso”, published in 1978, they regained the music scene. A melody known everywhere, in every corner of the musical panorama.
You steal my soul…
You steal my soul / But then you throw it away from me / I chase it and I always find you / You steal my soul / And then I don't know what you do with it / While I try to take it back / It dies a bit in the always heart her
This is probably the best known melody, still today, of the historic Italian band. A passage used for several generations to conquer loved ones, to express a thought, a sort of pure poetry, with a strong melodic charm. A song that travels in the sea of the 2.0 network with thousands of shares on social media.
The Collages today ...
The current line-up of Collage is composed of Tore Fazzi, vocals and bass, Piero Fazzi, on vocals and acoustic guitar, keyboardist Fabio Nicosia and Francesco Astara, on drums and percussion. The last great effort of the group dates back to 2017: the song "Unmistakable". In the historical formation, as well as Piero and Tore Fazzi were present, Masino Usai, Pero Pischedda and Pino Ambrosi. The concerts of this legendary group continue around the beautiful country and beyond. Today, due to Covid 19, several events around the world have been canceled. With italiani.it, we want to revive these splendid "postcards" of our culture. Forever Collage… thanks guys.
