But what seems to be more similar is the so-called American "apple pie". Its origins would go back to the United Kingdom, but it would have spread mainly during the colonization in America, in New England. It was prepared in families so as not to waste fruit. And therefore it could be enjoyed longer. It was also popular in monasteries, which made a large number of recipes for many dishes. Over time, however, it has become an icon of American national gastronomy. But the variations are many. Like the names: "American Apple Pie", "Tarte Tatin" in France, "apple crumble" in England. Here the procedure apple pie: peel the apples, cut them into four parts and then into slices. In a planetary mixer, break the eggs and add the sugar. We mix. In a bowl, pour the Manitoba flour and add it little by little to the previously prepared egg and sugar mixture. Then add some milk, yeast and the rest of the flour. And then the lemon zest. Grease a pan with an opening edge and then pass some breadcrumbs on the bottom of the pan and on the edge. Pour the dough inside and decorate it with the previously prepared apple slices. We add sugar and flakes of butter on top. We bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees. After cooking, we serve our cake and enjoy it.
