Let's make them grow up”, this is the invitation from the Telethon Foundation for the usual charity marathon, now in its 33rd edition. Starting yesterday (December 11) and until December 18, every day will be dedicated to solidarity, with many appointments to support scientific research on rare genetic diseases.
Telethon Marathon
Like every year, the marathon will record Rai's commitment throughout the week, with the involvement of over 45 broadcasts. The numerator that marks the official start of the fundraising already lit up during the episode of Unomattina in famiglia. Then, in prime time again on Rai 1, the episode of "Natale e Quali Speciale Telethon" hosted by Carlo Conti was broadcast. While to close the marathon will be Amadeus with the episode of "The usual unknown, the return, Telethon Special" on Sunday 18 December, always in prime time on Rai 1. During the week, the 17th short film promoted by will also be broadcast on Rai and RaiPlay Rai Cinema for Telethon, entitled "My son", by Mauro Mancini.
The Telethon Foundation renews its invitation to citizens to participate in the large chain of solidarity to support research. This, reiterating that thanks to research it is possible to give hope, therapies and a future to children and all people with a rare genetic disease, and their families. Until December 31st it will be possible to donate by calling from a landline or by sending a text message to the solidarity number 45510. In addition to credit card, during the marathon week on Rai networks, it will be possible to make a donation online also by framing with your smartphone or tablet the QR code that will appear during broadcasts.
