The Biagio Agnes Award is the international journalism and information award. It represents a very prestigious appointment for famous names in the world of journalism. The winners were announced and there was no shortage of surprises. The XIV edition in Piazza del Campidoglio on Saturday 25 June and on Raiuno on Monday 27 June. Among the winners Ileana Sciarra of Adnkronos.

Jury chaired by Gianni Letta: the prize to Amadeus stands out
The Jury of the Biagio Agnes prize was chaired by Gianni Read, Italian journalist and politician. Among the various goals achieved in his journalistic career, Letta was responsible for the local editorial office of the newspaper “Il Tempo”. Subsequently he became national vice president and director of the Rome office of the communications sector of the Fininvest group. Politically he has held important positions such as that of Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Delegated Authority for public safety.
A particularly significant recognition as a television event of the year was awarded to Amadeus for the 72nd edition of Festival of Sanremo. An award not only for excellent conduct, but also linked to the audience record. The numbers of Sanremo 2022 have exceeded even the rosiest expectations. The final evening, the average share of 64,9% was reached. This is even an average of more than 10 percentage points higher than last year, which has made it possible to achieve the highest audience rating since 2000.
Award also for "The De Filippo brothers" by Sergio Rubini. It is a tribute to the story of Eduardo Scarpetta's illegitimate children. The story tells of three boys who were able to redeem themselves by becoming famous with their mother's surname.
