A nice breath of optimism and an important contract, just signed, which confirms the entry of some Swiss entrepreneurs into professional Italian football. One of the last wealthy Swiss to enter Italian football was Rene De Picciotto who invested in Lecce and then left the club, with his shares being absorbed by the current members.

New investment, this time in Serie C

This time the investment comes from a Series C company. Olbia Calcio 1905 srl (“Olbia Calcio” or the “Club”) announces the signing today of a preliminary contract between the members of the Club (Alessandro Marino, Alexandre Tartara, Gian Renzo Bazzu, Massimo Curreli) and Swiss Pro Promotion GmbH (“SwissPro”). The provisions contained in the agreement will be implemented starting from the notarial finalization set within three weeks. The contract provides for the purchase of 70% of the club's shares by SwissPro, while the other members will retain the overall share of 30%.

Alessandro Marino will continue to hold the position of President while Tartara and Bazzu will hold the position of advisors together with other new members. SwissPro (www.swiss-pp.com) is a recently established company made up of football industry experts, professionals and investors.
