Another success for i Maneskin: the Italian band launched in the world of international music triumphed at the MTV VMAs 2023 in the category best rock thanks to the song The Loneliest. Their popularity and skill increasingly stands at very high levels.
Success for Makeskin at the 2023 MTV VMAs
The 2023 edition of the Video Music Awards was held in the last few hours, the event that rewards international stars who are protagonists of music with their songs. This edition saw the triumph of Taylor Swift which won awards in all the categories in which it was nominated. The record-breaking singer was the protagonist of a nice little scene during the group's performance, sending a kiss to Damiano, the frontman of the Italian band which is gradually gaining more and more success and recognition at an international level. The four boys are making themselves known and appreciated by international bands and singers by competing with them in some categories to receive prizes.
The exhibition and the awards ceremony
The band traveled to the United States to attend the awards ceremony which always coincides with a great show. The event took place on the night of September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The award was earned for the category Best rock thanks to the ballad The loneliest which is part of the new album entitled Rush which, like the previous ones, is receiving great appreciation. The band competed with the great names of rock, always their role models. A great achievement, not only artistic but also personal, achieved by these four artists who carry the name of Italy high in the world. The Maneskins were candidates in two categories: Best Group (won by the Korean BlackPink) and Best Rock.
Awards won in the USA
In 2021 the band took home the MTV Ema statuette for Best Rock for the first time. A few months later came the victory at the American Music Awards with Startin', and finally the nomination for the 2023 Grammy Awards as best new artist; another award came as Best Alternative Video for «I Want To Be Your Slave».
