Is called SeminActions, a group that since last November 2023 has found a job placement laboratory for autistic children in the countryside and agricultural activities, on a Salento farm. The protagonists, in these long months, are the children of the association "Gli Amici di Nico Centro Servizi per l'Autismo". A project which will end on April 5th, on one of the days of this week dedicated, at a global level, to awareness of autism, starting today.
SeminAzioni, the birth of a social inclusion project in Salento
A project aimed at the job placement of kids with autism, which involves, together with the SeminAzioni group, around thirty young people from "Gli Amici di Nico" and the "Capiverdi" agricultural company in Casarano, in Salento. Since last November and until next April 5th, work, dedication and passion: contact with nature becomes ever closer. From sowing to harvesting the products of the land: in short, all the activities relating to agriculture are carried out. And the protagonists, divided into groups and always supported, were thus able to experience every company activity.
The group and the projects
Sowing, grafting, working the land. All with consistency and patience. Since 2022 the SeminAzioni group, made up of nine young people, has been promoting sustainable agriculture, care of the territory and the environment, in the territory between Casarano and Ruffano. And for the future there are many projects in the pipeline, always aimed at enhancing the agricultural tradition salent and to promote sustainable agriculture.
