A beautiful day of sport, but above all of healthy principles that took place today at the bowling club in Otranto, in the province of Lecce.
The Municipal Administration was present at the event. Mayor Francesco Bruni was enthusiastic, throwing the first ball to kick off the event.
This is the statement from the bowling club: “𝐺𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑧𝑧𝑎, 𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑒 are the watchwords to which today the Bocciofila of Otranto is inspired after receiving, during the Open Day, the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐚 plaque from the municipal administration and the Kindness Department of the Municipality of Otranto. Mayor Francesco Bruni, after symbolically "failing" with the gentle purple bowl, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative dedicated to this sport which, in our city, has its roots in the past. He also thanked Councilor Stefania Temis for her commitment to sowing kindness that the communities so much need: "In Otranto, in addition to the sirocco and tramontana winds, Stefania brings a pleasant breath of kindness."
