Vincenzo Ruffa in the early 70s, starting from a few hectares of olive groves and a small press crusher, laid the foundations of what is now the Prime Bio Farm Ruffa Vincenzo. A family-run company in which the Ruffa family has brought together the love for their land and the passion for this work. In 1991, in the locality Barbers, in the municipality of San Gregori d'Ippona, in the province of Vibo Valentia, the continuous cycle plant was built.

And if once the goal was simply to produce oil, today it is there mission of the brand born in 2010 is to produce an exclusive, high quality product. The manufacturing process has been converted to move towards organic and sustainable production, with total respect for the environment. But the care of the plants, the attention paid to each phase of the production process, from harvesting to pressing, from storage to bottling, are always the basis of the company. Just as the motto remained: "Quality, our priority". Today, following in the footsteps of their grandfather and parents, the third generation descendants hold the reins of the Prime Bio Farm Ruffa Vincenzo, a business complex that occupies about 50 hectares of land, characterized by seriousness, flexibility and innovation.

The olive trees, carefully cared for by expert agronomists, populate the Vibonese hills, until they reach the Costa degli dei. The Ottobratica, Ciciarello, Leccino, Frantoio and Tonda di Filogaso varieties are mainly grown. The harvest, which begins towards the beginning of October, is carried out by means of moderate means or by hand picking. The milling takes place in the four hours following the harvest and follows a cold extraction principle. Only in this way can a fine and limited production be obtained, a 100% Italian and organic oil, an excellent olive nectar, with precious chemical and organoleptic characteristics. The natural decantation is followed by storage in stainless steel tanks. And then the bottling, in a semiautomatic plant annexed to the company complex.
Organic extra virgin olive oil is suitable for both children and the elderly, excellent raw.

Through the skilful combination of the different varieties of olives, selected oils are obtained, with different sensory profiles that are able to satisfy the most demanding palates and the most refined tastes. The two main products are the “medium fruity” bio evo Privilegio and the “light fruity” bio evo. Privilegio oil presents itself to the nose with the characteristic smell of freshly picked olives, still green, surrounded by fruity aromas. On the palate it will surprise you with a soft and balanced taste, between bitter tones reminiscent of almonds and spicy tones typical of chilli. In closing, your retro olfactory sensations will be pervaded by the flavor of fresh walnuts, leaving a unique and refined taste in your mouth that you will want to savor immediately. The light fruity bio era, on the other hand, presents itself to the nose with a light fruity aroma of rightly ripe olive and fragrant perceptions of cooked vegetables and olive leaf. The taste is fluid, soft, almost sweet, with delicate perceptions of bitterness and spicy note. On the finish, clear and pleasant sensations of pine nuts and fresh peanuts are captured. The different types of organic oil and traced from the earth to the bottle, can be found in different packaging formats, to meet any type of needs.
