Sanremo Festival 2023, Marco Mengoni wins with the song Two lives. Second is Lazza, third Mr. Rain, fourth Ultimo, fifth Tananai. “I wanted to dedicate the victory to all the women who participated in the festival”. These are Mengoni's first words pronounced immediately after the victory. "We reached the final in five guys and so I think it's right to dedicate it to the artists who have brought wonderful pieces to this stage", added the visibly excited singer as he clutched the victory prize.

The final evening of Sanremo it opened with Gianni Morandi's emotional homage to his friend Lucio Dalla, who would have turned 4 on 80 March. Morandi led the long singing marathon together with the influencer Chiara Ferragni and the artistic director Amadeus. The latter read a letter sent by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The final night
The performances of the singers in the competition were interspersed with those of the super guests of the evening: Gino Paoli, Ornella Vanoni and Depeche Mode. There was no shortage of twists such as the performance of Rosa Chemical who simulated an embrace with Fedez or the statements of Paoli who revealed the love problems of the late Little Tony dealing with the betrayals of his partner. The singers' looks have unleashed the usual tam tam on social media between exaggerated praise and fierce criticism. Giving the festival the usual comic note was the great Fiorello who, with his pungent irony, made us laugh heartily. So, the curtain falls on this 73rd edition which, like all the others, has generated acclaim and controversy.
