Government and regions are seeking a shared solution on the reopening of discos. "We have to work on two aspects: on containment and reduced capacities and on entering safely and in this case the green pass can be applicable". This is the position of the Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa.
Reopening of discos, government and regions seek agreement
“There is no doubt - Costa specifies - that we must also pay attention to the discotheque sector, which to date is the only one that has not yet received an answer and which instead deserves to have equal dignity with respect to all other activities. We are thinking about this. I think the best method is to share a path with the regions, as done for the other reopenings ".
In particular, for Costa, "a protocol that makes it possible to identify, trace and monitor accesses" must be identified and applied. “The cts - adds the undersecretary - is working on a protocol that has been presented by the trade associations. But the criterion - he reiterates - cannot be that of distance, because we cannot say 'let's open but you have to dance at two meters'. The disco is by definition the place where we go to be together and socialize ".
Covid vaccines, protracted protection over time
"The most recent data, relating to a period between 105 and 112 days from the first dose of the anti Covid-19 vaccine, suggest protracted protection over time ". This was indicated by the second report drawn up by the 'Covid-19 vaccine surveillance' working group of'Higher Institute of Health (Iss) and Ministry of Health. The report, which updates that of May 15, is the result of the joint analysis of data from the national vaccine registry and integrated Covid-19 surveillance.
"From 105-112 days after vaccination - reads the report - there is a further reduction in the risk of diagnosis, with a similar effect in men, women and people in different age groups". The new report, referring to about 14 million people vaccinated with at least one dose, carries out the evaluation after 130 days from the administration of the first dose. Compared to the previous report, the number of vaccinated subjects aged 40 and over increased in the population studied. In addition, there is an increase in vaccinations with Comirnaty (Pfizer / Biontech) and Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and the initiation of administration with the Janssen vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).
