After three days of hospitalization at Policlinico Gemelli of Rome, the Holy Father returned to his residence in Santa Marta where he resumed his work at a good pace. Before leaving the hospital, Pope Francis visited the children admitted to the pediatric oncology department del Gemelli, bringing them rosaries, chocolate eggs and copies of the book "Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea".
During the visit, which lasted about half an hour, the Pope also imparted the sacrament of baptism to a newborn, named Miguel Angel. Pope Bergoglio had been forced to hospitalize for respiratory and heart problems and the whole world was left in suspense. The Catholic community and world leaders have expressed great concern about his health. But the pontiff reacted well and promptly to the treatments, so much so that after three days he returned to the Vatican.
