In Italy boom of tourists for the long weekend of April 25th: according to the surveys carried out, there are around 5,2 million tourists in the accommodation facilities of the Beautiful country. This confirms the good health of Italian tourism and above all the triumph of Italian cities of art, increasingly appreciated by visitors from all over the world.
Long weekend of April 25th
After an increase in the movement of holidaymakers during the Easter period of more than 7 percent compared to last year, among the tourism businesses there is, therefore, great optimism also for the long weekend of April 25th. The accommodation facilities recorded a good dynamism in demand with the saturation rate exceeding that reached in 8 by 2019 points. Based on the results of the monitoring, in this important spring bridge there will be a significant movement of tourists which will mainly go to cities and art centers, with 89 percent of occupied rooms. A positive trend is also expected for the other types of products, but with different trends.
In particular, seaside resorts register an average saturation of 72 per cent of the available offer, lake and mountain resorts respectively at 68 per cent and 67 per cent of occupancy. Instead, for the rural/hill localities the rate detected rises to 77 per cent and for the thermal areas to 76 per cent. Overall, an average of 3 rooms out of 4 are booked.
