The Foundation of italiani.it, which for years has been working in international connection with people from all over the world to spread, enhance and promote the Italian language and culture, is now giving life to its online academy, a Higher Education school for anyone who wants to study Italy, its language first of all, as well as its culture in all its forms: from arts to crafts, from science to fashion, from cooking to high craftsmanship. The Academy was born from the passionate impulse of the communities of Italians in the world, reunited and united in the great family of italiani.it, by virtue of the recognition, by numerous foreign institutions, of the mandate carried out by italiani.it and its Foundation in promote, spread and consolidate authentic Italianness, a source of inspiration for many countries.
The sense of responsibility deriving from the trust that these institutions and communities have placed in italiani.it and its Foundation, combined with the awareness of having become a point of reference worldwide, as guarantors of the values of Italian culture, has prompted the Foundation to to create an International Academy whose mission is that of teach the Italian language and culture in the world according to the essential principles of solidarity and brotherhood at the basis of the "italiani.it" project.
The philanthropic initiatives of the International Academy of Italian culture
In recent years, the Italiani.it Network has had the pleasure of setting up important philanthropic initiatives (including the financing of stays in Italy for the descendants of emigrants in Latin America) and award Italian language scholarships to foreign students, delivered in the presence of the consul of Buenos Aires Antonio Puggioni. From the enormous response of this initiative, welcomed with great participation by the new generations of Italian descendants in the world, eager to study the language of the roots, interest and collaboration with various similar institutions in other countries arose.
