From 29 September to 1 October, in fact, the 4th edition of the Mushroom Festival will be held in Serra San Bruno, an event organized by the close collaboration between the Pro loco of Serra San Bruno, the Regional Natural Park of Serre and the patronage of the Municipality. serrese.
The festival will start on Friday 29 with a mycological excursion curated by experts in the field. Saturday and Sunday Palazzo Chimirri will host a dedicated exhibition, while along Corso Umberto I the food stands and musical entertainment will go crazy. In addition, many restaurants will join the festival by offering set menus, naturally based on mushrooms, at a cost of 15 euros per person.
An event that every year welcomes many mushroom enthusiasts or simply curious, interested in the unmissable combination of excellent gastronomy and nature in an uncontaminated and relaxing place. The visitor can therefore take advantage of the days of the Mushroom Festival to get lost in the woods of Archiforo and Santa Maria, in long walks among centuries-old beeches, chestnuts and silver firs where time seems to have stopped.
