In this finale on Sunday we admire Buonconvento, the most beautiful village in Italy in the province of Siena, Tuscany.

A floral and modernist flash on the facade of a house: a new air among the dominant medieval forms. The color of terracotta, brick, and that of the Crete Senesi, the clayey hills dotted with farms and churches where the white diamond of the truffle is born.

The severity, the sweetness and the smile that are on the faces of the Madonnas painted by the Sienese artists on tables and frescoes preserved in the Museum of Sacred Art.

The products of a fertile countryside.

The steps of pilgrims on the ancient Via Francigena.

The color of the clays in autumn. An intimate corner of the landscape: an old farm, a cypress tree, the curve of a white road.

All this is Buonconvento and its territory.
