The Teatro alla Scala of Milano renews its tribute to Carla Fracci with the second edition of the gala dedicated to the famous étoile. On the program as in the first edition, a series of excerpts from the titles that trace the career of the great classical dancer. The gala is wanted by the Director of dance Manuel Legris, in order to celebrate in the name of Carla Fracci dance and ballet with a broad international scope.

There will also be Davide Dato, principal dancer of the Vienna State Ballet, in his debut on the Scala stage. He will perform the musical pieces thereLa Scala Theater Orchestra which will be directed by Kevin Rhodes. In the program, titles that trace the history of ballet and intersect with that of an extraordinary artist, who left his mark as an interpreter of romantic ballet, of the great nineteenth-century repertoire.
And also of the temperament and modernity of the choreographic visions of Nine hundred. Starting from the beginning, where it all began: fired from the ballet school, she was the one chosen to interpret the ballet after the opera The Sleepwalker by Luchino Visconti: The Specter of the Roses. The iconic ballet by Michail Fokin will open the evening with Jacopo Tissi and Letizia Masini, while for the first time Nicoletta Manni will perform together in the role of Marguerite Gautier and Roberto Bolle in that of Armand Duval in the famous pas de deux from the second act of La Dame aux camélias.
